Thanks to everyone for all the great comments. For those looking for more functionality, I originally used the blue "move" wedge to activate a pop-up with more controls, but it became too difficult to move the skin around ... you'll just have to rely on right-click!

This is a great idea for a skin and it works quite well. Keyboard shortcuts are the key to getting added functionality out of this one though:
CTRL + 1 - returns to full mode
ALT + F4 - closes the player
CTRL + O - Opens the file open dialog
Again, bravo! for a great skin.

This is wonderful! I need a small control button area, and this is ideal. Have you done something similar for WinAmp v2? Thank you, KidAfrica, for mentioning the keyboard shortcuts; those really helped me.
